The JOHRi Speargun

What makes this gun special?

Grip:
The handle is made of a soft rubber that is comfortable in your hand.
The body  is made of high quality glass filled nylon.  It is extremely strong.
NB.  The angle between grip and barrel is exactly right.  If you stretch your arm out in front of you and relax your wrist, you can place the grip in your hand and the gun will become an extension of your arm.  The result of this is that the recoil is straight back into your arm and not upwards as is normally the case.  Your wrist also stays relaxed because you don’t have to lift the front of the gun.  This is one important factor that makes the JOHRi extremely accurate.

Mechanism:
The mechanism was designed by a qualified mechanical engineer and the beauty of it lies in its simplicity and reliability.  With only three moving parts and one spring there is nothing that could break.
The mechanism is made of solid 316L stainless steel.
NB.  Line release/retainer is unique and fail-proof.
NB.  Pulling strength of the mechanism (pulling force it takes to pull spear out of pistol grip) is 408kg/897.6 lb.

Barrel:
The carbon rail barrel is very strong (stiff) and light.  It was tested with 4 x 16mm rubbers on a 1.4m barrel and it did not bend.   The wall thickness is 2mm and the outside diameter is 28mm.  It is manufactured by the world leaders in carbon extrusion technology.   

Versatility:
You can shoot any fish on the planet with the JOHRi gun.  Although it is a light-weight in size, it packs one hell of a punch.
